Project: Marketing & Design Apprenticeship at Gainsborough’s House
Date: December 2022 – November 2024
Brief outline: To manage and maintain Gainsborough’s House social media presence.
Concept: To use all elements of the ever-changing Museum & Gallery, Gainsborough’s House to celebrate all there is to offer at the National Centre for Thomas Gainsborough in Sudbury, Suffolk. This includes: collections, learning, events, café, print workshop, architecture and cultural history.
Outcome(s): Multiple social media posts in image and video format.
Notes: From the images and videos being used, the graphics and editing, carefully curated captions and image descriptions – Lex is behind it all. The Museum & Gallery’s follow count increased considerably from 1k to nearly 3k in two years organically. With only Twitter and Instagram before – they have Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Threads to show up on now too!
